A Special Valentine’s Recital: High School Students Share Love Through Music

On February 7, 2026, Musical Memories Project presented a Special Valentine’s Recital at The Farms at Bailey Station, an independent living community. This program featured highlights from our talented high school musicians who generously shared their time and artistry with the members of The Farms.

Valentine’s Day invites us to reflect on love in many forms — joyful, nostalgic, hopeful, and enduring. Through music, our students thoughtfully expressed these different shades of love in a warm and meaningful afternoon recital.

Celebrating Love Through Music

Acelynn Saisuphaluck performed two elegant piano selections: Für Elise by Beethoven and Mariage d’Amour. These timeless pieces carried tenderness and grace, setting a heartfelt tone for the program.

Emmi Jager followed with Slow Dancing in the Dark by Joji and the classic Lady in Red, offering both contemporary and traditional expressions of love that resonated across generations.

Noah Lim concluded the Valentine’s highlights with Always on My Mind, The Way We Were, and At Last. These beloved songs brought familiar melodies into the room, creating a reflective and peaceful atmosphere.

Throughout the recital, the members of The Farms listened attentively and expressed their appreciation with warm smiles and applause. Their encouragement and gratitude made the experience especially meaningful for our student performers.

Bridging Generations Through Music

What makes these recitals special is not only the repertoire, but the connection formed between youth and seniors. Our high school musicians bring dedication, sincerity, and talent, while the members offer attentive presence and heartfelt appreciation.

At Musical Memories Project, our mission is to honor seniors through live music while giving young musicians opportunities to serve their community with purpose. This Valentine’s recital was a beautiful reminder that love can be shared through melody, presence, and thoughtful performance.

We are grateful to our student performers and to The Farms at Bailey Station for welcoming us once again. We look forward to continuing to create moments of joy and connection through music.
