Important Clarification Regarding Our Social Media and Leadership

We are pleased to share that Musical Memories Project™ is once again fully under the management of its original founders and family team. Since its creation, Musical Memories Project™ has been a family-led initiative dedicated to bringing live, familiar music and joy to seniors in care communities.

Recently, our official Instagram account (www.instagram.com/musical_memories_alzheimers) was accessed and used without authorization by a group of past volunteers who are no longer affiliated with our organization. The account was later modified and rebranded under confusingly similar names.

To clarify, the following individuals were former volunteers only and were never appointed or authorized as student leaders of Musical Memories Project™:

• Junwon Choi

• Caroline Brezina

• Julianne Ferrolino

• Rehan Krishna

Some of our online communication platforms, including our Band app account, were also used without permission. After our legal counsel issued cease-and-desist letters to the adults involved, certain digital contents were removed, and our organization’s name was subsequently changed and rebranded without authorization. While some past volunteers appeared publicly on those accounts, the management and control of these actions were directed by individuals who no longer represent Musical Memories Project™.

We also wish to confirm that Hana Barber and James Ferrolino, both past student volunteers, have been no longer associated with Musical Memories Project™ since May 31, 2025, and have had no authority or involvement with our organization after that date.

For absolute clarity, Musical Memories Project™ has never changed its name to Music 4 Memory (@music4memory_). Any organization or social-media page using those or similar names is entirely separate and unaffiliated with our nonprofit. All official Musical Memories content, programs, and updates will be shared only through our verified platforms: Official Instagram: @musical_memories_project

Musical Memories Project™ remains dedicated to its true mission — connecting youth and seniors through meaningful musical experiences — under its rightful and lawful leadership. This statement is provided solely to clarify official ownership and communication channels. It is not intended as an accusation but as a factual clarification to prevent public confusion.
