Musical Memories was honored to host a beautiful Christmas recital on December 6th, 2025 at Kirby Pines Lifecare Community, featuring the talented young musicians from Lisa Ramirez Piano Studio.

Their performances brought warmth, joy, and holiday spirit to the seniors who attended, creating a truly memorable afternoon for everyone. We are proud to highlight the four outstanding high school students who shared their music with us:

Sophia Vo, a 10th grade student, is a dedicated and expressive young pianist whose musicality shines in every performance. She is the 1st Place Winner of the JD Kelly Competition in Jonesboro, AR, and continues to grow as an artist through her disciplined practice and passion for music.

Naomi Brown, an 11th grade student, brought elegance and depth to her performance. She received an Honorable Mention at the JD Kelly Competition in Jonesboro, AR, and her thoughtful approach to music is reflected in her refined playing and beautiful tone.

Amira Zhan, an 11th grade student, performed with confidence and sensitivity. She is the Runner-Up at the JD Kelly Competition and earned 2nd Place at the UT Martin Piano Competition. Her dedication and artistry are evident every time she sits at the piano.

Alex Xue, a 10th grade student, is a talented and committed pianist who represents the strength of Lisa Ramirez’s studio. He plays with clarity, musical maturity, and a deep understanding of the pieces he presents. His performance at Kirby Pines showed poise, skill, and heartfelt musicianship—qualities that make him an important member of this ensemble of young artists.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Ms. Lisa Ramirez for collaborating with Musical Memories and for bringing her exceptional students to share music with our seniors. Her mentorship and dedication to nurturing young musicians play an essential role in making events like this possible.

We are grateful to all the performers and to the residents of Kirby Pines Lifecare Community for welcoming us into their home.

This recital was a beautiful reminder of how music connects generations and lifts the human spirit.
