Still in the Halloween Spirit?

Our young musicians arrived in festive costumes, filling the room with color and cheer. Their joyful energy lit up the residents’ faces as music and friendship bridged the generations once again.

The recital featured an engaging mix of pieces — from fun favorites like Ghostbusters and Beetlejuice to the traditional Hava Nagila and Uva’u Ha’ovdim by Shlomo Carlebach, performed beautifully by guest musician Diana Stein. Residents clapped and sang along, reminded of how music can awaken cherished memories and unite hearts.

Special Thanks Our heartfelt gratitude to:

  • Maeve Brophy, piano teacher, for sending three of her talented students.

  • Diana Stein, guest musician, for her moving performances.

  • Doris Vassar, Director of Activities at Memphis Jewish Home, for her warm support.

Your kindness made this afternoon truly special.
